This site is truly what the world needed. Everyone needs to know who Grandpa Joe REALLY is.

I am not alone in my hatred of Grandpa Joe! Long live this site!

This made my night! Not only is he cowardice, he has the integrity to be complacent about his inactive lifestyle. Shameless and should never have been given the privilege of living alongside Charlie et al at the factory!

I saw this movie for the first time when I was around 5 years old and even at such a young age I always knew that he was a deadbeat.I'm glad that I am not the only one that thinks it.I just watched it again tonight and googled (grampa joe is a deadbeat)and a whole list came up. lmfao

I'm just happy to be here. Grandpa Joe is unfiltered garbage. Long live this site.

A lot of the stuff on here is pure conjecture. There is also a lot of error when comparing the culture of when the book and original movie were written and present day. Old folks often shared beds in smaller, low-income houses. Baths were often a leisure activity as well. Cabbage soup was the main course for most households because it was easy to prepare and could be stretched for weeks. And, of course, most of the quotes and scenes are taken entirely out of context.
I know this is a parody site, but still...

My son has been watching this movie weekly. I just noticed for the first time today that grandpa Joe has crack nails - seriously his pinky nails are reeealy long. You can see them in the scene where they first see the chocolate river. Something ain't right about that guy.
