- Except for Charlie all all the characters in the movie are scumbags. Not only grandpa Joe's a vile one but also Willie Wonka and the rest of the kids and their parents. IF you see things from the point of view of the idiot that built this site though. Man, what a crap ! It's not funny, it's not smart, it's nothing but a waste of time. What you trying to do ? Destroy one of the best films of all time ? Try to see the good lessons it shows and not what's not there. This site stinks !

- This must be one of the most ridiculous sites I have ever visited in my life. I wish I could say this site is bad satire, but the fact that it is so unbearably boring leads me to believe that it's not satirical at all. This is a lame excuse for humor, if even that, and definitely a waste of time. If it weren't for the UTTER HILARITY of the fact that you guys are complaining about a God-forsaken FICTIONAL CHARACTER, I wouldn't even give you as much as this whiny, half-assed comment.

- OMG just noticed something - when Grampa goes and moans at Wonka for not giving Charlie his prize, he has the blatent cheek to turn to Wonka and say 'Your a crook a cheat and swindler. Build up little boys hopes and smash all his dreams to pieces.' All that springs to mind here is Pot calling the kettle Black. He built Charlie's hopes up by buying him chocolate and saying there will be a ticket in it. And after reading your site, everything you have said about Grampa his a hypocrit because his a crook, cheat and swindler. Again Mean and Nasty old man.

- Hilariously funny especially as I was watching the film at the time, and could point out the old mans flaws. I think another of his flaws is that he isnt an individual but a follower modelling his hair and lip pubes as Einstein. What a freak and mean old man! His the one who chases kids away when they chant nasty lyrics and words outside his house. Mean and Nasty

- I've always adored the book and have been reading it since I can remember. I absolutely love the movie, too.
I'm shocked, though, at Grandpa Joe's true self. It makes complete sense to me, though! I'll spread the word!
